Zeemods Store Reference
A quick guide to the terms, labels, and product types used across the Zeemods store, so you know exactly what each pack does before you buy.
These provide the engine, exhaust, intake, turbo, engine brake, and driving character of the truck.
These add the truck around the engine: interior controls, cabin sound, rattles, air brakes, transmission effects, and more.
This means the pack can use extra Zeemods Audio Framework features where supported.
The Generation label
The generation label represents the overall sound-design and production standard used for each Zeemods product. As our recording methods, audio editing, spatial processing, FMOD implementation, and ZAF integration have developed, each generation has introduced a higher level of refinement and realism.
G5 represented a major advancement in how Zeemods sound packs were recorded, processed, balanced, and presented in-game. It established the foundation for our modern multi-perspective sound design and remains a high-quality Zeemods standard.
G5+ is now our latest and most advanced sound-production standard.
Rather than representing one individual feature, G5+ covers the complete production process — from how the original recordings are prepared and edited, through to how individual sound sources are processed, positioned, dynamically controlled, and integrated in-game.
ZAF - Zeemods Audio Framework
ZAF is a Zeemods plugin for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. It extends what compatible Zeemods packs can do by adding extra sound logic that is not normally available through the base game audio system alone.

What “ZAF Ready” means
The ZAF Ready label means the pack has been prepared to use ZAF-related features. The exact features available can vary depending on the truck, pack, recording set, and supported definitions.
Exhaust diameter options
Some Zeemods engine packs are available in different exhaust versions. These are not just cosmetic labels. Pipe diameter, mufflers, and aftertreatment systems can strongly affect the tone, pulse, bass, sharpness, and overall character of the exhaust sound.
Usually more controlled, often with mufflers or emissions equipment reducing the exhaust note.
Sharper, and often more cutting in tone, with faster and more defined pulses.
A balanced middle ground, usually giving a strong mix of clarity, body, and bass (our favourite).
Deeper and heavier, usually with more low-frequency presence and a slower, bigger exhaust feel.
Interior & Effects Packs
Interior & Effects Packs are truck-specific enhancement packs. They focus on the sounds of the cab and the truck itself, rather than the engine alone. Combined with ZAF, this pack can offer some of these effects:

How the Zeemods soundscape fits together
Zeemods products are designed in layers. You can use individual packs, but the most complete experience comes from combining the right sound pack, matching interior/effects content, ZAF, and recommended supporting mods.
Sound & Engine Packs provide the main engine character.
IE Packs add the cab, controls, air systems, and truck effects.
ZAF unlocks additional behaviours and sound triggers.
Supporting mods fill out wind, tires, trailers, reverbs, and weather.
