Proudly introducing the Cummins 6.7L + Ram Engine & Effects Pack. All of the sounds were professionally recorded from a Dodge Ram 3500 which had a deleted Cummins 6.7L engine and 6" tailpipes. The engine had been tuned to 500HP with an uprated turbo kit.
This pack offers a complete soundscape for the RVM Pickup Truck, including custom engine sounds, a full suite of interior sound effects and general sound effects such as road and wind noises. There are also custom engine & transmission options designed to work alongside the custom sounds.
Please note: This pack has been designed for use with the RVM Pickup Truck by Jon Ruda available on their website. The truck is not included in this purchase. The truck is required for this sound pack to work. Furthermore, the engine brake will not be included with this pack initially, the truck we recorded in real life had its engine brake disabled due to the uprated turbo. We will however record an engine brake from another truck and update the pack to include it.
Includes / Feature List:
4th Generation of Sound (G4)
Zeemod’s 4th generation of sound includes the following key features and techniques.
Dynamic Volume Control
This means that the volume of the engine, intake, turbo and exhaust will fade over distance and each sound emitter is placed in a believable location on the truck.
Dynamic Sound Effects
This means various dynamic effects are applied to the exhaust sound to simulate the engine take load. You’ll hear the exhaust note change as the throttle is pressed and will sound different depending on how heavy your truck/load combination is.
Directional Sound Control
This means that the volume and/or pitch of a sound will change depending on the location of the listener (eg, the player’s camera). For example, if the player’s camera is at the front of the vehicle, you will mostly hear the engine sounds, whilst if the player’s camera was at the rear of the vehicle, you’d mostly hear the exhaust sounds.
Dual Exhaust & Full-Fidelity Sounds.
This means that a single exhaust pipe was recorded with either two microphones or two exhausts had their own independent microphones recording the sound. These sounds are then implemented into the game in a dual-channel, simulating the different sounds captured from each exhaust pipe independently.
And each microphone placed in the engine bay, for example, has its own independent sounds playing in-game instead of being combined into a single channel sound. This produces a rich, full-fidelity sound, ideal for those audiophiles.
Multi-stage Jake or Interbrake system.
This means that you can toggle each Jake or Interbrake stage and each stage will have its own unique sound. Zeemods was the first to introduce this feature to ATS, as far as we know.
Compatible with:
ATS v1.44
Disclaimer:
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the sounds are accurate as possible, updates to the platform (ATS or ETS2) can make undesired or unexpected changes to the audio system that could cause the sounds to no longer sound as they originally did. Additionally, the sound may not always sound exactly the same on your PC as it does in a promotional video. It is important that you read the included documentation to ensure that your sounds are configured properly to prevent this from happening. Furthermore, it is not advised to compare the sounds from these sound packs with Youtube videos of real vehicles because Youtube videos are heavily compressed, and generally speaking, are recorded with low-quality microphones on handheld devices. Sound packs provided by Zeemods are recorded with 6 to 8 movie-quality microphones and will invariably record a much larger frequency range than a handheld device. Due to the complexity of the sounds, Convoy mode will contain a simplistic version of the engine sounds which will play remotely on other player vehicles.
